COLiN DEVEZ: 13 years of age.

 

RESiNMAG.COM: Where were you born and where do you live now?

COLiN DEVEZ: San Clemente.

 

RESiNMAG.COM: Who are some of the companies that you ride for?

COLIN DEVEZ: Lost. West, Electric, Osiris, OAM, Bubblegum, Catalyst and Hapa J’s.

 

RESiNMAG.COM: Who is not on that list that you would like to add?

COLIN DEVEZ: Apple and Starbucks.

 

RESiNMAG.COM: Do you have any brother or sisters?

COLIN DEVEZ: 1 little bro & 1 little sis.

 

RESiNMAG.COM: Do they surf also?

COLIN DEVEZ: Lil’ Bit.

 

RESiNMAG.COM: So tell me how old you were when you first surfed, if you can remember what that was like?

COLIN DEVEZ: I was 5 years old and I remember my dad pushing me into a wave at Doheny & at first I just wanted to Sk8, but look at me now.

 

RESiNMAG.COM: You live in Southern California and are growing up in an area known for having some of the best surf, where is your favorite spot to paddle out?

COLIN DEVEZ: Lowers, all Trestles and most of the beach breaks in front of my house are really fun like Rivi, T street and the Pier.

 

RESiNMAG.COM: Do you like surfing contests?

COLIN DEVEZ: At times.

 

RESiNMAG.COM: Do you have a strategy? 

COLIN DEVEZ: Every heat, catch waves, don’t fall.

 

RESiNMAG.COM: What do like to spend your time doing when you are not surfing?

COLIN DEVEZ: I’ve always loved to sk8.

 

RESiNMAG.COM: What trick are you working on right now?

COLIN DEVEZ: Passion hop, just can’t get em.

 

RESiNMAG.COM: Your dad mentioned winning a trip to somewhere for a comp you won, tell me about that? 

COLIN DEVEZ: Yea I actually just went to Porto Rico I’ve never been but I’d definitely go back for sure.

 

RESiNMAG.COM: Who is your favorite surfer?

COLIN DEVEZ: Julian Wilson and Pat Gudaukas.

 

RESiNMAG.COM: Why?

COLIN DEVEZ: They have sick styles & they do huge airs.
